I have a Master degree in the English language and literature, with French being my second language, and I have amassed over six years of teaching experience. I have mostly been teaching online and working with people from different cultures, but I also have significant experience in teaching in actual brick-and-mortar schools. It is my belief that a language teacher does not only teach grammar and vocabulary, but also serves as a guide through culture and values of the people who speak that language. My understanding of English-speaking cultures helps me significantly while teaching English, and I cannot wait to present my own Serbian culture to students who want to learn our language.

It's easy to explain grammar or word meaning. What's more challenging (and a real beauty of my job) is finding a way to explain it to individual people in a way they can understand. Some students want to learn a language but are really uncomfortable with terms like noun, adjective, conjugation, or declination. Others are nervous because it's their first time learning anything online. Some believe they are too old to learn and think that all is lost. Each of them gets a special approach from me. The one thing absolutely everyone needs is lots of patience.
