My name is Nayeli, I'm from Mexico and I'm a nanotechnology engineer. I'm easygoing and always happy to meet new people. I love traveling and inmersing myself in other cultures, particulary through food!!
I'm very passionate about environmental causes and I hope to make a positive impact on the world.

Ever since high school, I've tutored friends and acquaintances in math and chemistry subjects. My experience teaching languages is more recent, in 2019 I worked in a tutoring centre for kids where I helped them with Spanish and in the past year I've also helped some friends lay their fundations of Spanish. When it comes to learning a language, I believe there are three main elements: grammar, passive skills (reading and listening) and active skills (speaking and writing). I consider all of them equally important. However, I would suggest we focus on grammar and active skills, since you can practice your passive skills on your own. I love every class with Nayeli because she makes the classes super fun. Also, teacher writes really helpful notes and I find it very helpful to review the notes after class.

Nayeli is an excellent teacher. She is incredibly friendly and a good conversationalist. Further, I feel that she helped my Spanish and provided useful corrections and explanations. I recommend her!
