Eating too much, sitting too long, drinking too much, playing on phones all day long...... It sounds like that nobody's life can be unhealthy like that, but when we compare our daily life to it, everyone can find themselves,even it's some people's regular life schedule. After getting drunk for a whole night, some people get up with a serious headache which usually lasts for many hours. They promise to quit alcohol and do exercise to have a healthy life, but a call near the time of getting off work destroys everything. Their friends invites them to hang out and they don't refuse. After enjoy another "amazing night", they appear in their office with a special feeling. They feel that they will die! What they can do is just to play on their phone , sit by their tables and wait the off clock rings again! Maybe another call will change everything again! In that case, we should learn how to refuse friends' invitation, then stand up and walk around our tables, stretch our arms. Even if you just do a little exercise, but it's better than doing nothing. We live in such a magic world, we can't leave phones, offices and entertainment. Nature is just out of the window, but it's really far from us! Maybe there is just a slight pain on our back after sitting in our offices for a long time, but we might appear in a hospital one day due to a serious back pain! Take care yourselves,my friends!

Recently I had problems when waking up early and I read about the topic to improve my sleep quality. It is quite important for my day how my day starts. First what i think is important are considering the sleep cyles. The human's sleep cylce is around 90 minutes long. This includes light sleep, deep sleep and the rapid eye movement phase where we dream. Our body is not made for getting interrupted in a sleep cycle. What I want to point out is that when you track how long you need to get to sleep and add your desired number of sleep cyles you will wake up awake and fresh. I want to underline that it depends from person to person how many sleep cycles you need and of course how much physical activity your body needs to do. Second, for having uninterrupted sleep cycles it is important to not get interrupted by anything unimportant during sleep. If you live near a busy street i would recommend soundproof windows. Make sure to darken your room enirely. Maybe it is also beneficial to use ear plugs. In general there are a lot of ways to improve your sleep.

“Lady Sings the Blues” — An Interesting Biography of Billie Holiday This book, published in 1956, is a must for any jazz music lover. Written by Billie Holiday herself and William Dufty, it covers the struggling life of Lady Day in the first person from her birth to the fifties, immersing yourself in the musical ambiance and lifestyle of jazz musicians of three decades. This hard story teaches us about coping, perseverance, and resilience. Since her childhood, Holiday faced discrimination, fear, poverty, substance abuse, and all kinds of difficulties that didn't prevent her from becoming the most creative and emotional jazz singer of all time. “Lady Sings the Blues” not only teaches us about jazz history, but also entertains us with a bitter sense of humor and a writing style that makes its reading pleasant. Since this book is autobiographical and published during Billie’s lifetime, some facts may have been altered or embellished. Some of them are different from the ones I've studied in other sources, but I don’t know which ones to believe. You can't expect the rawness of Sylvia Plath Diaries, to whom death came so soon so she couldn’t change anything, or the accuracy of an historian writer. However, the relevant storyline sustains. In conclusion, this biography is an interesting approach to Billie Holiday life that for sure will let you understand her songs and interpretation style way more better. I personally enjoy it so much and I strongly believe that it is worth a read if you like jazz as much as I do.
