Could someone tell me if it is correct to write "type me" instead of message me? I have the impression that it requires an object. Thus, the correct version would be "type me an email/a message". Am I right?

She stayed at home because she had no car.(original) According to Chinese culture, however, we would say: 1. She stayed at home not because she was ill but because she had no car. and we would never say such as: 2. She did not stay at home because she was ill but because she had no car. Question: Which is grammatically correct? and which is better? Do both have the same meaning?
