Together, we will read and discuss books that have appeared on the New York Times Best Seller lists within the past six months. We will read one book per month. Reading Schedule (Yellowface by R. F. Kuang): July 7: Chapters 1-6 July 14: Chapters 7-12 July 21: Chapters 13-18 July 28: Chapter 19-The End *IMPORTANT NOTES* - Please read each week's assignment before the book club. - The student is responsible for acquiring their own book. - This book club is not for beginners. The suggested English level is B2 or higher.

Students will practice articulating their thoughts in a coherent fashion and engaging in in-depth discussion. We will go over challenging vocabulary and English idioms that we come across in the books, which will deepen the student's knowledge of English. Through reading these popular books, students will also become more familiar with current trends and culture in the USA.
