クラスの説明
What are the pros and cons of widespread social media use these days? How does the business model of social media not only influence our online experience but also our real-world experiences? Could there be a better, more positive way to enjoy the benefits that come with the interconnected world of social media?
In this group conversation class, we'll discuss these questions and more in a relaxed environment where you can boost your confidence and learn from your mistakes.
Before class you'll: 📓
1) Look over a vocabulary sheet to learn new words/expressions that you'll hear in a short interview, as well as some additional useful vocabulary related to the topic
2) Watch the interview to prepare for the discussion and practice listening for the new vocabulary
In class you'll: 🗣 &👂🏾
1) Discuss the interview from the video
2) Go deeper into the topic in order to practice your speaking, listening and, of course, your new vocabulary
3) Have so much fun you'll need to take a nap afterwards!
So, why don't you come relax, hang out, and let the English flow?!
**NOTE**
-Students must do the pre-class activities before class.
-Adults only please! (CLASS NOT FOR KIDS)

What I love about being a teacher is seeing a new vocabulary word or grammar concept "click" for a student. When that light bulb goes off in the student's head, I feel a deep sense of purpose and joy seeing them grow in real time. Examples I often give in class include jokes, because I believe students learn better with a laugh. However, I am not a clown and won't force myself to be funny, because I know that can be obnoxious. My worst nightmare is a bored student. What's yours?
**ALSO** I DON'T GIVE LESSONS TO KIDS. I recommend searching for a teacher with experience teaching kids. There are some great ones on Italki!
