男：没关系，我还要和同学们一起打篮球呢。
8. 男：一起吃早饭吧。
女：我已经吃过了，你自己吃吧。
9. 男：这次考试怎么样？
女：别说了，很多学过的汉字我都不会写了。
10. 男：别买衣服了，我没有那么多钱。
女：没关系，我这儿有钱。

11. 男：您是第一次来我们这儿吗？
   女：不是，去年九月我来过一次。
   问：女的来过这里几次？
12. 男：你在这个商店买过东西没有？
女：买过一次，这儿的东西还可以，就是不便宜。
   问：女的是什么意思？

男： 你自己去吧，我还有很多工作要做呢。
   问： 男的为什么不去跑步？
14. 男：今天的报纸你看过了没有？
女：没有，我在看昨天的报纸呢。
问：女的看的是哪天的报纸？
15. 女：这件衣服不错，就是有点儿贵。
   男：两百多块还可以，喜欢就买吧。
问：男的想让女的买这件衣服吗？

Lesson 1: Build a Study Habit as Solid as the Titanic’s Hull
The Titanic’s hull was state-of-the-art, yet it wasn’t indestructible. Similarly, your study habits need to be strong, but they don’t have to be perfect. Start small—just like the shipbuilders who started with a blueprint. Dedicate 10–15 minutes daily to learning your language. Research shows that consistent practice, even in small increments, leads to long-term success.
Your daily routine is your hull. If it’s solid, you’ll keep floating, even when you hit minor obstacles.

Lesson 2: Spot the Icebergs Before They Hit
The Titanic didn’t see the iceberg until it was too late. When it comes to studying, your "icebergs" are distractions, unrealistic expectations, and burnout. Be mindful of these obstacles before they derail you. Set realistic goals, like learning five new words a day instead of fifty.
Think of distractions like incoming icebergs on the horizon—acknowledge them, steer clear, and keep your focus steady.

Lesson 3: Lifeboats Are Non-Negotiable
The Titanic’s lack of lifeboats was its greatest tragedy. In language learning, lifeboats represent backup plans for when life gets overwhelming. Too tired to study grammar? Watch a short video in your target language instead. Feeling stuck on vocabulary? Try a language game instead of a workbook.
Lifeboats are your Plan B—your way to keep moving forward even when your primary routine is disrupted.

5 Steps to Business Habit Stacking

STEP 1
Identify 1-3 key habits you want to focus on developing that will have the biggest positive impact on your business. These should be habits that are relatively easy to implement but provide high value such as daily planning, delegating tasks or networking. Focus on habits that are specific, measurable actions you can take each day to make progress towards your goals.

STEP 2
Choose an existing daily habit you already have as an anchor. This could be making your bed, taking your vitamins or checking email. The anchor habit should be something quick and easy you already do daily. Picking an anchor you already do each morning or evening will help cue the new habits without adding extra effort.

STEP 3
Immediately follow your anchor habit with one of the key habits you identified. For example, if your anchor is checking email in the morning, follow it with taking 10 minutes to plan your day. Doing the new habit right after the anchor will help the cues become associated over time.

STEP 4
Repeat the key habit daily, right after your anchor habit, until it becomes a routine. It may take 21-30 days for a new habit to stick so be patient and consistent. Don't try to build multiple habits at once. Staying focused on one habit at a time will help it to form more successfully without overload.

STEP 5
Once the first key habit is a routine, add the second by stacking it after your anchor and initial habit. For example, your routine is now check email > plan your day > delegate one task. Continue stacking until all your key habits are locked in. Stacking new habits onto existing routines helps you develop multiple productive habits efficiently.
