One of the most common topics that I discuss with people is presentations. Presentations can be great opportunities to use those English skills that you work so hard on, but they also have their own stresses and challenges. Today we’re going to look at some vocabulary that you might hear when watching a presentation and some that you might want to use when giving your own. こんばんは！Atsushiです。
今回も慣用句シリーズでいきますね。

① 尻に火がつくーしりにひがつく
事態が差し迫って、追いつめられていること。
ー彼は〆切直前になって、尻に火がついたようだ。
などと言います。

② 尻を拭うーしりをぬぐう
人の失敗などの後始末をすること。
ー彼の尻拭いをした。
などと言います。

③ 尻に敷かれるーしりにしかれる
夫よりも妻の立場が強いことを表現します。
あまりポジティブなイメージではないですし、今の時代にはあまり良くない表現かもしれないですね。
ー彼は尻に敷かれている
などと言います。

お尻はいろんな使い方があるみたいですね。
他の部位に比べるとあまり多くなさそうですが、それぞれがおもしろい表現ですね。
