This is my recording of preparing a student to succeed as an IELTS speaking taker.

What you think about your success will dictate what you say, how you say it, it will influence your fluency, your grammar, your vocabulary!

It all starts off WITH YOU THINKING : "I AM A BRIGHT INDIVIDUAL'!

I am a bright individual,

I feel that I am a bright individual,

I possess the qualities of a bright individual.

I am the owner of being the bright individual.

2. How I prepared for the IELTS test and what I did to achieve 8.5 and then 9.0 in the speaking section?

3. You have the technical skill and the mindset skill.

4. Who are you competing with?

5. What were my other successes with this strategy in 2018 and in 2022?

6. The acceptance of ideas talked about and moving on to further preparation.

My student, I decided to share it with you because you cannot miss to go into IELTS or ANY ENDEVOIR  (job interview preparation, business English) without this CRUCIAL ELEMENT called the mindset!

Тьютор «Айтоки» Ксения Назарова попросила студентов подобрать хороший перевод слова «тоска».

В повести Толстого «Смерть Ивана Ильича» (перевод на английский Эйлмера и Луизы Мод) слово это переводилось с помощью французского заимствования ennui. 

Некоторые считают, что тоска является одним из ключевых концептов русской культуры.

В романе Пушкина «Евгений Онегин» читаем:
«Недуг, которого причину
Давно бы отыскать пора,
Подобный англицкому сплину,
Короче: русская хандра
Им овладела понемногу;
Он застрелиться, слава богу,
Попробовать не захотел,
Но к жизни вовсе охладел».

Я недавно перечитал «Мёртвые души» Гоголя. Эта великолепная книга написана по-русски, о России и для русских. Вот замечательная цитата из неё:
«Почему слышится и раздаётся немолчно в ушах твоя тоскливая, несущаяся по всей длине и ширине твоей, от моря до моря, песня? Что в ней, в этой песне? Что зовёт, и рыдает, и хватает за сердце? ... Русь! чего же ты хочешь от меня?»

Главный герой книги «Москва-Петушки» Ерофеева утверждал:
«Я не верю, чтобы кто-нибудь ещё из вас таскал в себе это горчайшее месиво... Больше всего в нём скорби и страха ..., и ещё немоты».

Одна из причин тоски -- огромные людские потери в войнах, что отразилось в народных песнях, таких как «Чёрный ворон».
