Training session about strategical thinking.
Today I visited a training session, organised by my company, about strategical thinking and a systematic approach.
In spite of the fact that I was a bit skeptical before the session, it turned out to be quite interesting and useful.
Honestly I’m a big proponent of a systematic and strategical approach. I’m convinced that only using this method it’s possible to succeed, because success requires a plan and consistency. I use this approach in different parts of my life besides work, such as in language learning, finance management and work-out routine.
At the same time I think that I have a room for improvement in terms of strategical thinking. Usually my planning horizon is up to 3 years, which is not very bad, but may be longer. I’m considering about having a 5 or even 10-year plan, but understanding that everything is changing, including myself, really makes me doubt.
Thank you!

Training Session on Strategic Thinking
Today, I attended a training session organized by my company on strategic thinking and a systematic approach. Although I was a bit skeptical beforehand, it turned out to be quite interesting and useful.
Honestly, I’m a big proponent of a systematic and strategic approach. I’m convinced that this method is the key to success because success requires planning and consistency. I apply this approach not only to my work but also to other areas of my life, such as language learning, financial management, and my workout routine.
At the same time, I believe there is room for improvement in my strategic thinking. My planning horizon is usually up to three years, which isn’t bad, but it could be longer. I’m considering setting a five- or even ten-year plan, but knowing that everything—including myself—is constantly changing makes me hesitant.
Thank you!
1. “Visited a training session” → “Attended a training session”: “Attend” is the correct verb for events like training sessions.
2. “Organised” → “Organized”: “Organized” is the American spelling; “organised” is British. Use whichever is consistent with your style.
3. “Strategical thinking” → “Strategic thinking”: “Strategical” is rarely used; “strategic” is the standard term.
4. “In spite of the fact that” → “Although”: More concise and natural.
5. “Using this method it’s possible to succeed” → “This method is the key to success”: More natural phrasing.
6. “Besides work, such as in language learning, finance management and work-out routine” → “Not only to my work but also to other areas of my life, such as language learning, financial management, and my workout routine”: Improved clarity and structure.
7. “I have a room for improvement” → “I believe there is room for improvement”: More natural phrasing.
8. “May be longer” → “Could be longer”: “Could” is more appropriate than “may” in this context.
9. “I’m considering about having” → “I’m considering setting”: “Considering” is not followed by “about”; “setting” fits better.
10. “Understanding that everything is changing, including myself, really makes me doubt” → “Knowing that everything—including myself—is constantly changing makes me hesitant”: More natural and polished.
