I had worked for two hours today.
I didn’t like working but I want to get money, so I work.
Why do you work?

I work for passion first, and usually that leads me to also make money. :) I hope these corrections are helpful. For "I had worked" - it would be correct if you had done something else, for example: "I had already worked for 2 hours before I got home." I add the "already" because it just sounds more natural in English.
