Well, I don’t know if I have done enough yet, though they say they’re proud of me for everything I have accomplished so far and what I am currently doing in my life. There was a phase in my life when I didn’t fully appreciate everything my parents were doing for me. But as I’ve grown older, I’ve realized the sacrifices and emotional strength they provided without ever saying a word. Especially my mom… she believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself. She gave up her own comforts for my needs and wants. She has given me so much love, support, and strength—often in ways I didn’t understand at the time. I’m working hard not just to grow in my life, but to build a life where they can finally rest and feel cared for—where the weight they’ve carried for years slowly begins to lift. Even though I know I haven’t done enough yet, I try every day. I understand that we can never truly repay our parents—not for the sleepless nights, the compromises, or the dreams they silently gave up—but we can try. And I’m trying.
