Nowadays, due to the strong development of technology as well as electrictity devices, most of us can use Internet widely and easily.
If users are mature and knowledgeable enough, they can control on reading and reception the information on there. However, if users are children who aged from 4 to below 15 years old, they will have to face with lots of threats on the internet.
Youtube, Tik Tok and Facebook are the 3 popular social medias that attract majority of children. While Yotube released Youtube Kids version to provide a more contained environment for kids to explore, other social medias still allow the users post videos, images that have been not censored yet.
When not be supervised by adults, children can be enticed to see the contents contained violence, negativity or offence, that can lead to serious behavioral, ethical, and cognitive distortions. Besides that, children may be victims of cross border human traffickings, child sexual abuse or other society’s vices.

cognitive distortions. Besides that, children may be victims of cross-border
human traffickings, child sexual abuse or other vices of society.
Social media is abstract and uncountable, so we can’t make it plural. To refer to it we have to use a countable word like ‘type’ or ‘company’ related to social media. “Content” in this context is also uncountable, when it refers to media that is available online, like YouTube videos or blogs. In other contexts, like when referring to the contents of a book or contents of a container, it is countable.
