And today is also Father’s Day so we have decided to be lazy, just relax and do nothing. My sister has sent her greeting to my dad from NewZealand, I miss her, but I’d rather give him a big fat hug. Sleep in is better known in England as a lay in. There was some confusion over who you are missing. You put it as “,I miss her,” as you have written it it would have been correct if you were missing your sister but that didn’t match with the whole sentence because you went on to say that you wanted to give him “your father” a hug.
