Are those sentences correct? If not, how to make them better? "For the past few months, I have been looking for my Italian materials – a huge number - on Google docus sent by the teacher before each lesson. However, I can’t find them no matter how hard I have tried. It’s such a blow that makes me feel a great sense of loss and prevents me from starting learning it again."

Such a blow gives me feeling of great loss and discourages me from starting to learn Italian once again." "discourages", doesn't "prevent"!
