I love lots of different genres of music - from rock to jazz and from salsa to hip-hop. However, virtuoso guitarists have a very special place in my heart. This is in part because my parents listened to Queen when I was a kid, and Brian May is an excellent guitarist. When I was a teenager, meanwhile, my dad and I bonded over Led Zeppelin, whose albums we listened to as we travelled to the countryside to climb mountains together. At a similar time, a family friend introduced me to Jimi Hendrix, and he soon became my favourite guitarist. At the moment, I'm listening a lot to Greg Howe, Tony MacAlpine, and Wes Montgomery.
