What's the difference between utility room/laundry room/service area?

Hi Raquel. These are usually three different rooms. A utility room is often a room in a hotel, apartment complex, office building, etc., where janitorial or other supplies are stored for workers to use. A laundry room is exactly what it says, a place, most often in someone's home, where laundry (clothes) is washed and dried in machines. A service area could be many things, but typically is a place where specific services are provided. These can be things like customer service or service to repair or fix something, either in-house or for the general public.
