Hello my name is Joseph, I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I want to tell you why I am here on itlaki and the thing that happened to me that I told myself I want to learn English.
I decided to learn English when I was in Budapest and I had a problem with my passport in the airport. I remember that the girl form the check in told me that i needed to go to the office to resolve this problem. When I went I just could said words because my English was terrible. At that momento said myself that I return back to Argentina I will start with English.
And that happened, thanks to god I found itlaki 5 months ago and I did 200 lessons until now. I had days that I did 4 and 5 per day. Also I am learning Italian here on itlaki. I owe my life to itlaki because when I started to learn English here I couldn’t make a simple sentence like “I got up “.
In my plans is to keep up studying at least 1 year more English and Italian.

And what about you? Did you take an advantage of italki? How good was itlaki for you?

I found all of my Brasilian language partners here. I also encouraged one my partners to become a teacher here, met a man that speaks 15 languages(hire him by the way), found many language teachers for my daughter, met GOLD and Nada here and 3 wonderful Saudis. 
My Arabic has gone from 0-100 due to the hard work of my many language partners. I fall asleep in front of the computer and dream in two languages. Spanish occasionally interrupts my plans but I press on. I want to interpret in the Hospital.
