Does anyone have any advice on how to maintain 3 languages at the same time? I'm a native English speaker and I have varying abilities in Spanish, Mandarin and Italian. I don't want to lose my ability in any but I'm struggling to keep up.

I am in the same boat. I have different goals for each, and I adjust my efforts depending on what I want to work on.

my advice is to make separate youtube accounts dedicated to content in each language. When you need a refresher, your youtube feed is full of vlogs or whatever in that language... This makes studying less tedious and more fun in my experience!

Good luck with the new HSK 5! You'll pass it. Great that you have different levels in Spanish and Italian, it really makes it easier. It's always OK if you take several "books" at once and go slower because there are more - languages) You can find your schedule, just keep going! We've all been there! La fortuna sonríe al atrevido.

Hi Jasmine, from my personal experience of maintaining several European and Asian languages, I can say that a stable schedule works best. In order not to mix the languages, it is best to take small breaks between them. For example, it's easy to start mixing Spanish and Italian, but you have a wonderful Mandarin option, which can be a good switch. In general, a day for one language, a day for another, and after a couple of weeks you are automatically ready to learn one particular language on one particular day. Don't worry, and just focus on one language in one day or hour (time doesn't matter). The main thing is not to forget in the process that learning languages is fun and interesting and not a race.
