What happened to Italki? Where can I find just foreign friends to talk for free? 10 years ago it was possible. Are there only paid tutors here now?

I have had trouble finding friendly people to speak with. Usually people try to sell me something or scam me. I just want a friend to talk to and will be happy to help anyone with their English.
