The letter V is just like the letter F, except you hum at the same time. Try not to think of the letter W when you read the letter V.
The letters R and L can be difficult. The difference is you use your bottom lip and top teeth for R, but your tongue for L.
When the letter R comes after a vowel (A, E, I, O, or U) the letters come together to form a new sound. Not all of these are found in Mandarin, so they can be quite tricky.
I find pronunciation quite hard in Mandarin at the moment.
