What's the difference between " reprobate" and " reprehend" when they are used as verbs, please?
For instance:
Such cramming method of teaching is now severely reprobated/reprehend.

Neither one is common.
"Reprehend" is an extremely formal way to describe denouncing or scolding someone. "Reprimand" is still somewhat formal, but much more common.
"Reprobate" is only a noun or adjective in modern usage. Its use as a verb is archaic. The primary meaning was similar to the first two, but it could also be used to describe just feeling disapproval without actually expressing it.
