How would you pronounce the letter"W"?

Actually I know how to pronounce it, but I heard that American people pronounce it as" double u" while British people pronounce it as both "double u" and " double lju", is that true?

By the way, how would you spell the word "book", the middle two Os will be " double o " or " double lo" ?

For the book spelling I would say : B O O K, or to bee more specific i would say : B. as in Boy, O as in Orange, O as in Original , K as in Kilogram

And yeah I would say double iu, idk how the British pronounce it 🤷🏻‍♀️
