Overcast skies and a nip in the air signal the changing seasons. Evenings on the veranda are starting to feel a bit chilly. After dinner, Dad helped me with a haircut, but we made a big mistake by doing it in the living room. Hair was scattered around (or “everywhere”). My brain dead cat made it even worse by pouncing and lunging about. Mom went furious. Cleaning up the mess wasn't fun, and we shockingly learned a hard lesson about the vacuum cleaner's hair-trapping abilities. Disassembling it was a time-consuming chore. We won’t do that again.
