What is the meaning of possessive in this sentence?
I'm sure the disgust with which the kapos glare at us could tear my skin. Their hate is both possessive and dismissive, and it makes me ill.

The Kapos think that they own the people they are looking at. As if those people are slaves that belong to the Kapos.
