Although I’m not looking for an English teacher at the moment, I have to say the British English sounds like music to my ears, so I always pick a British teacher to learn from. Weirdly, I became attracted to the Birmingham accent after watching The Peaky Blinders. That’s Cillian Murphy’s/Tom Shelby’s f******g charm, If you know what I mean ☺️ Also to me the Northern accent in the UK has something harsh but still charming about it. Jon Snow, the Starks and the northerners from the Game of thrones spoke with that accent, right? Anyway, I’ve got many others British accents to discover, and it is a pleasant journey, I can tell.
