Do I have to spell the word "Internet" with the capital 'I' or small 'i' nowadays?

Good question! I had to look for the answer myself.
The short answer is "no."
The rule has changed.
In the past, you had to capitalize Internet if it was a proper noun.
Now, most people do not.
