1. Soak 1 cup of rice in water for half an hour. Use room temperature water from the tap.

2. Drain water from rice and then wash the rice twice and put it in a cooking basket until the water is gone completely.

3. Put one tablespoon of veggetable oil in the cooking pot.

4. Add the rice when oil is hot and mix them together well on a low heat.

5. Add 1 cup of boiling chicken or vegetable broth to the rice and then turn the heat high, mix the broth with rice and leave it to boil for around 3 min., and then turn the heat to the lowest and put an iron plate under the cooking pot and put the cover on.

6. Keep it on the lowest heat for around 13 min., and then turn it off.

7. Use a fork, and only a fork to move rice from down to up and let it all mix together.
