Some advice about written exam??

Hi, next week I have to do a written exam of English.I have to listen a report which lasts about 3 minutes and then, I have to write what I have understood.I would like to know if I have to use hearsay reporting (present or past??) or indirect speech (present or past??)??

I would say just listen to slot of videos, immerse yourself in english everywhere you go so you get used to identifying phrases and words. All the best to you! The tenses depends on the context
