必须 is more used when someone has to do something because of regulation， duty or the situation one faces. eg：学生在校必须穿校服（Students must wear school uniforms when in school）；军队必须撤走，不然就会被敌人消灭（The troops have to retreat,or they would be elimated. ）

必定 is more about a judgement one makes.   eg他必定就在附近（He must be around the corner）

必须  means 事情还没发生 must be will

必定 means 事情已经发生 must be done

比如：你必须走。一般就不能换成“你必需走”。

你必须走：说话者对听话者的一种命令，说话者要求听话者无条件遵从（听话者会不会遵从是另一个问题）。

比如：你被学校开除了，必须（马上）走。

你必需走：这表达的可能是说话者站在听话者的角度，为听话者考虑，觉得他应该走会更好，即他需要走。

比如”敌人就要到了，你必需（马上）走“。
