I know a little bit about Morocco.  I recently reread Driss Chraibi's La civilisation, ma Mere!... and loved it even more than the first time.  I have read about the Amazigh tribes and heard writer Taher ben Jaloum talk about his latest book. My favorite French teacher in college was from Casablanca.  She was such a fascinating teacher.  I would love to visit one day.
