Could someone explain this phrase? "In all normal worlds I gasp love and music to keep it normal"

I know what the poet means.

The poet needs to suck in the air of love and music to stay sane. Without love and music the poet would wither and die, or go mad.

We gasp in air when we need oxygen. The poet is gasping in love and music.

Well, that's what it means to me!

The book is nothing but a big list of all his one line verses. Does this help?

And what is the context? Is it a quotation from the book? The meaning of the phrase can possibly be "Love and music are the things that I pant for to feel all right". Anyway the context is crucial to understand the phrase.
