I lived in Chile for a year. I arrived with B1 Spanish. I think I would have improved much more over the year if I'd gone somewhere else.

Be aware that Spanish speakers from other countries say they can't understand a word when they arrive. I think Chilean Spanish is the most difficult in the world.

Es verdad lo que tu estas diciendo jaja, para los gringos se les hace dificil escuchar tantos modismos y mas en Chile que usamos un monton ;)

 Jajaja si lo extranjeros les cuesta mucho entender... Aunque hay personas que hablan con menos modismo y garabatos..
