Incorrect:
Gus and I are going to school.
Give the papers to John and me.
Correct:
Me and Gus are going to school.
Give the papers to John and I.
I guess "correct" and "incorrect" should be reversed.
Ryan and I go to the beach.
You know this is correct because if you remove "Ryan" from the sentence, it still makes sense.
I go to the beach.
He needs to give it to Ryan and me.
If I remove "Ryan" it still makes sense.
He needs to give it to me.
That's a simple trick to use, and don't worry, plenty of native speakers make these mistakes all the time.
