Please, can you explane when we use the phrase "made mi KIND of...". What`s the difference when I say "it made me a bit sad" and "it made me kind of sad"

Hi, this is just another way to express that some situation was "... cause me to be a little ...." but not to extremes.
Examples:
It makes me kind of angry when politicians do nothing but argue with wach other.
When I watch that TV show , It makes kind of want to become a doctor.
Rainy days always make me feel kind of lonely for my friends back home.

"Made me kind of..." is very similar to "made me a bit...". Can't really think of any differences.
