It is thought by some that a school teacher's role is to motivate and inspire students. However, other people believe that a teacher's primary role is to pass on knowledge.

What do you think is the role of a teacher?

In my ago, most of my life is staying in campus but home, namely, the people around me are classmates instead of family members, in this case, teachers exactly play the role of our parents, they not only teach us the things on the textbooks but also direct the right way for us according to each student’s personality and our forte.

Definitely, teaching knowledge is the main point of teachers’ work, from primary school to college, those teachers and professors, some of them equip us with knowledge, some of them teach us how to wisely deal with the problems that we face in reality. As a result, I think a complete education system should work like this, that is the reason why all educators all need to pass a training which how to cope with students’ individual problems.

Moral educators should be sensitive to every students’ situations, caring students’ mental conditions is much crucial than classwork, especially primary school, elementary school…Those kids are still establishing their features. By encouraging them, by inspiring them, a teacher could lead them to be a person who does lots of contributions to our society or in the opposite, teachers don’t do so who might become a drug dealer so that we can easily tell how much impact that education for a human.

To sum up, teachers are who have more knowledge and social experience than students, in this case, they can not just teach nothing but books, in other words, to make sure every student could learn optimistically, that can not be emphasized enough.

In the first paragraph, writers often use 2 long sentences to complete it. The former one is to rephrase the question and give related information about the question and then in the latter one they must state their standing to illustrate how they would like to approach this issue as a whole.

Here is my ending

To sum up, teacher are often more knowledgeable than students, so they may play a vital role in passing on knowledge in the textbooks to students. More than that, teachers can work as a good mentor to help students think in different ways. They are equally important in my opinion.

In addition: I am not a native speaker and I am a lifelong teacher who is all the time learning.
