Before my mother

Now my only best friend she's really always there for me but not on very and sever emergency situation ,nothing like my mother or father so I rely on myself and it's sometimes hard .

Of course, English politician of the 18th century didn't write about 'the emergency situation in XXI century, when your car was stolen, or plane crashed... But his words survived.

Why? Because the words are not only about politics, but also about the human nature.

You have misunderstood the quote, Mrs T.  It is not referring to personal issues but rather political issues like the rise of a dictatorship
