Gustav Klimt's painting are wonderful. Check out the "Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I".

During Klimt's "Gold Period", he used real gold leaf in his paintings.

The painting was stolen by the Nazis..there's even a movie about it: Woman in Gold (2015).
