Thai language is fun to listen to and hard to learn. Thai writing is so beautiful. It looks more like artwork than writing. Really quite graceful. English looks so plain next to it.

I think It's a cool language, because I saw a lot of Thai movies. And I love it. But the pronunciation of Thai have the same pronunciation, doesn't it? Like "beautiful" and "unlucky", "hurry up" and "black guard" in Thai[emoji].

Hi Tarntawan,

I only know how to pronounce a few Thai words such as numbers and "thank you". I have always had the impression that Thai is a graceful language. To my foreign ears, the words seem to flow beautifully. Another thing which I noticed is that the pronunciation of many ending Thai words are "stretched". I wonder if this is because the speaker wants to emphasise something?
