I have a theory: those people who like melons also like cucumbers more then tomatoes. And those who like watermelons prefer tomatoes.
According my theory also people who likes melons and cucumbers prefers dogs as thier pet and watermelons/tomatoes lovers like cats. I have no scientific justification exept observation and interview of my frinds ))

I like cucumbers, tomatoes, watermelons, California honey melons, cantaloupes and most kind of fruits.
No dogs please, unless they work with shepherds, the police or help blind people go around in the city.
I am another watermelon-tomatoes-cats person.
Cucumber and dogs are both fine by me, but I'd never go out of my way to eat any other melon.
