I would like to teach English here, but I do not speak another language fluently (I am, however, learning learning Spanish). Are there many of you who only know and teach your language? How has it gone for you? Was it more frustrating than productive?

Hi Keith! I'm a native English speaker and I only teach English here on iTalki as a Community Tutor even if I can speak Filipino and a little Russian.
It's fun but competitive to become an English tutor. It's not that easy to get students here on iTalki, most especially if you only teach English because there are a lot of English teachers/tutors here. Nonetheless, I still get students and I enjoy teaching them
If you want to teach English then go ahead! It's worth trying, don't be afraid to apply as a tutor or teacher
