"Ăn cháo đá bát" talks about the action of some people that instead of appreciating your help or offer, they take all your help for granted and even betray you somehow.
In terms of literal meaning, it means the action of someone "eat porridge then kick the bowl"
I also like the idiom that has similar meaning is "qua cầu rút ván"
