How do you use the word “Instinct”?
我的直觉一直很准。I’m always right in my instinct. Can I say that?

Hi Cassie,

We use the word "instinct" to describe a trait of something that is automatic and not learned. For example, we could say: "It's just an instinct I have about him." This means we have a feeling about 'him' that is natural and automatic. We didn't think about it, it just happened.

Your sentence is correct and expresses the idea clearly, but it might be more common to say it as:

"My instinct is always right." (singular)

OR

"My instincts are always right." (plural).

I hope this helped.
