in Indonesia.. we worked 8 hours a day.. from Monday until friday and we got 1 hour to lunch break at 12.00 pm..

every company has their own policies.. there is a company that gives "extra payment" for the worker who worked more than 8 hour a day but there is not..

 

In my old workplace, I remember working like 70 hours a week. I sent an email to ILO explaining the details and reminding that this goes contrary to both internal law in Turkey and international regulations of which Turkey is a signatory. Their reply was like a joke: "we can not accept individual demands, enable your labor union to get in touch with us" 

It was like a joke because a great majority of working people in Turkey do not belong to labor unions. But of course it's not openly prohibited for the sake of displaying a semblance of democracy 

In my job we worked 10 hours a day from Monday to Thursday. Two 15 minutes break one in the morning and another 15 minutes in the afternoon. Lunch break is 45 minutes and Friday is closed to save electricity.

In Pakistan normal working hours are 7 to 8 hours but there is extra pay for over time which is a bit low as compared to basic salary but poor people normally for 12 hours a day on a very low daily wages. I feel sad for them. They are really hard workers and honest to their work.

I work part-time. Seven hours a day, four days each week and I get a 20 minute break.
