I think that watching movies or TV series at least an hour a day is a good way to improve your English.
Right now I'm watching "Friday Night Lights", a tv series about American football. You should find it entertaining even if you don't like American football, because it's not just about the game, but the lives of the characters. It's got it all: friendship, betrayals, drugs (related to football), etc...
Another interesting and more light TV series is "The Big Bang Theory". You probably know it already, but if you don't, you should seriously give it a shot.
It's about a bunch of very smart guys who have some problems interacting with "normal" human beings. The main characters are two physicists but what's hilarious is that they apply their knowledge of physics to every situation, often with unexpected results and reactions from others.
Yep, I've even read the first 10 books. The TV series covers the first book and it does so very well.
yeah i have watched "24",it's pretty interesting.
I think you watch too many seasons.Have you seen "The game of thrones",i believe it won't disappoint you.
Yeah, I know Prison Break. I like the first two or three seasons very much, but to me the last 3(?) seasons were a disappointment.
Do you know "24"? Very interesting concept. Everything happens in real-time (but since the episodes last 45 minutes, 15 minutes are skipped over).
Sherlock was very very good. I thought that the first season was very good, but the second season was even better and its last episode left me wanting more. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait since next year :(
As for "Pretty Little Liars" I don't usually watch those kinds of TV series, but I watched a few episodes and I was hooked. Maybe I don't know myself very well.
I have watched many tv series like the vampire diaries(a mysterious vampire and human love story having unexpected surprises in every episode),prison break(it's my favourite,a guy tried every possible way to escape his innocent brother from prison),fringe(a parallel universe concept),how i met your mother(still don't who the actual mother is)etc.
Recently i have been watching pretty little liars, gossip girl, sherlock.
