Marriage in Japan

みなさん こんにちわ!

So recently me and my boyfriend had been talking about getting married. We're planning to get married this September. I know I'm somewhat too young to get married (i'm 20) but old enough already. Of course with my age, you couldn't blame me if I get worried about this big decision that i had came up with. I want to make sure that this marriage will work presumably until our last breath so I'm making as much effort to be informed about everything. So here comes my question; Are there things (international marriage and intercultural-related issues) that I should know and be concerned about before marrying a Japanese?

I would appreciate all your insights and suggestions. I know they will surely help me a lot in the future. ありがとうございます。

I think there would be some requirement to getting married in different country and culture..

Like you need to prepare CNI = Certified Non Impediment- to marriage from embassy or goverment I think, etc..

and perhaps there is some requirement from the culture, like in Indonesia, there are many manners/mores in my country, and you have to know about that, also you have to know abaout japanese inside.

My boyfriend is also Japanese. But you know, people are not the same though they are from the same place. So it's hard to say what you should pay attention since we don't know about your guys and your situations well. You can ask some people around you guys and you trust for advice. And finally make your own decision. :)
