- stay hydrated: H2o whenever you can!
- ice on your wrist or back of neck
- dunk in water or stay near water you can swim in
- after you are wet from shower, dry in front of fan- let breeze cool your skin
- dust yourself with powder EVERYWHERE
- wear as little clothing as possible
- Keep your head/face covered from sun: hat, scarf, parasol
- stay in the shade when possible!
- walk slowly: copy the gait of the locals
- eat warm foods or hot soups to equalize your body temp
- wet a towel and put in freezer. When cold, put it on you/your head
-dunk feet up to ankles in cold water
- put chilled cucumber slices on your temples or forehead to cool down.
-take warm/hot shower to match the outside temp
- don't move much!
- take a nap in a hammack!
- eat ice cream or drink cold soda (may make you feel refreshed!)
