This website has serious connection issues. First chat was gone, and now we can not send messages. Italki is awful. What a shame !!!

There are several reasons for that. You might have reached the limit or maybe the user you have tried to send messages only accepts messages from friends. Other than those two if your messages contain web site addresses, e-mail addresses or any kind of link they aren't going to be delivered. Those messages which contain links will appear as perfectly sent in your inbox but actually they are going to disappear in space :) I realised it long after I sent a message which contains e-mail address. I see it as sent but the truth is the message is now in some black hole :D

You probably reached the limit :P
