Do you remember the name of your first teacher?
Today here (Brazil), we celebrated Teacher's Day. This is a profession that makes others possible. So special and in some countries (like Brazil) underpaid. I'm so grateful for all my teacher! But the first, i will never forget, she is Neuza. She's so kind, caring, teaching us to love. I'd like to congratulate all teacher of italki.

Yes I do! Mrs Cook when I was 4 years old - she was nice :)
Neil - I don't agree that we only remember the good ones, I also remember some of the bad ones!
I think it's interesting how a good teacher can set us on a path for life as easily as a bad teacher can put us off a subject for life :)

I remember her whole name who is the first teacher in my primary school , but I cannot recall my preschool teacher's name . If there is opportunity , I would like to visit them .
