Italki should start using transferwise as an option as transferwise offer a fantastic international service very cheaply!

Your italki money comes to you from outside the EU so Paypal will take around 5%. After that, there will be some currency change fares but they're not significant. Italki percentage is ok. Fair enough, if not cheap, considering the job they do. About Paypal, I'm not so happy but it seems there's no other option available. 

Seems 3.5 percent! It's frustrating as once italkis percentage is taken its eating up quite a bit 

Any idea the percentage?

I think when you convert to your currency you lose a bit...
